Location: Menlo Park, CA

Salary:  Depending upon experience

Start Date: ASAP, 10 month contract

Responsibilities:
  • Perform purchasing and related functions for the I3 team
  • Manage the team’ s progress in the following areas: contract and statement of work approvals, purchase requisitioning process, invoice approval process, credit & spend tracking for each vendor, and issue escalation/resolution
  • Communicate updates to vendors in a consistent and professional manner; ensure payment and badge access (if applicable)
  • Maintain a very high level of attention to detail
  • Maintain project status in excel (or similar) & contract repository as needed
  • Consistently demonstrate a high level of professionalism in behavior and performance
  • Plan, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability working with teams who have worked on content that is sensitive and confidential in nature
  • Support administrative assistant on an ad hoc basis to help with conference coordination, events or new hire onboarding (if needed)
  • Support team on an ad hoc basis on basic data entry (if needed)

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited college or university required, ideally in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or management (or a related discipline) PREFERRED.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and written and verbal communication
