o Define and measure quantitative UX goals and metrics in collaboration with Designers, Qualitative
Researchers, Engineers, and Program Managers
o Examine existing data and product designs to generate hypotheses and plans for high-impact research.
o Participate in an agile team structure, be familiar with scrum ceremonies, backlog story writing and planning
with a product design team
o You frame, organize and communicate your work with others, and are able to explain rationale for research
decisions within a larger context both up and down the management and team structure effectively and
concisely
o Maintain project schedules; identify opportunities for increased efficacy of the design sprints
o You are the voice of the user, and are an expert in user expectations, behaviors, needs and motivations
through methodical and investigative approaches
o You will moderate 1: 1 and group panels, and will document, compile, synthesize and communicate research
finding and next-step actions to inform and impact decision-making process
o Execute unmoderated card sorts, tree tests and usability studies
 

Qualifications and Requirements
o Bachelor' s Degree in Research, Human-Computer Interaction Design or a related field is required
o 5+ years of UX or user-research for digital products, including web and mobile
o Well-versed with scrum ceremonies, experienced backlog story writing and documented sprint planning
with a product team design team is required
o Proficiency in a variety of user research techniques and reports is required
o Strong written and verbal communications skills. Superior presentation skills a plus
o Strong understanding of the mission and goals set forth for design and research, and the ability to
communicate concisely and completely to the product teams
o Expertise in data visualization techniques and tools
o Demonstrated record of superior command of research questions within a given domain, and the
accompanying technical tools for data analysis within that field
o Required participation in agile team structures
o Practical experience in research communication to technical and non-technical audiences is desired
