Project Manager/Business Analyst
Long term consulting assignment 

Located in Jersey City

Financial Services experience is a plus 

PMP Certification a plus 

Must have experience with  ServiceNow Implementations  PURPOSE
Experienced Project Manager and Business Analyst reporting to the Senior Program Manager of a multi-year program that will transform and modernize business operations across client.

Individual will lead requirements gathering and project delivery of key phases of the program from inception through delivery.

Project Management Lifecycle


Proficient in all Project Manager skills:
  • Accountable for successful planning, execution, and closure of assigned project(s)
  • Independently able to handle standard PM responsibilities through the project management lifecycle
  • Capable of leading the project through scoping, budgeting, implementation, command and control, escalations, risks and issues management, time management
  • Ability to manage risk with high acumen, developing and managing mitigation strategies
  • Appropriately escalates for feedback and resolution delivery on key decisions, financial forecasts and corrective actions when results deviate from plan or process definition.
  • Contains and maintains knowledge of PM supportive software tools and systems (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Visio, MS Project, industry standard PPM Software etc)



Business Analysis

  • Proficient in the planning, elicitation, analysis, translation, and documentation of business requirements
  • Deep experience developing Business Cases and Business Requirements Documents, defining clear scope, business drivers, functional and non-functional requirements, success and performance criteria, etc
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture and systems engineering concepts in order to build clear specifications for project delivery
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis of requirements
  • Contains and maintains knowledge of BA supportive software tools and systems (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Visio, Lucidchart, Balsamiq, ARIS, etc)



Relationship & Communication

  • Provides superior client experience and strengthens relationship with business partner
  • Responsible for hosting and facilitating Project Management Governance Forums and Requirements Gathering Meetings
  • Collaborates with colleagues across the organization to get things done
  • Manages project communications including status reports to all stakeholders
  • Provides senior management with timely updates on project items
  • May utilize single vendor / 3rd  party of known capacity and manage the relationship ( Vendor management)


  • An SME who effectively communicates and collaborates with senior management, regional and global business leaders / sponsors / stakeholders
  • Able to manages projects that are multi-year high budget initiatives that involve interaction with and having the ability to face off with consultants and vendors
  • Possesses 7 or more years experience in the project management or equivalent areas
  • Possesses 5 or more years experience in the business analysis area
  • Possesses financial industry experience
  • Possesses Software Development, Systems Deployment, Systems Architecture, and Systems Engineering experience
