Responsibilities: 
  • Design mobile-first web experiences with measurable impact.
  • Deliver designs from wireframe through full-fidelity visual designs with specs for coding.
  • Reference brand style guides and pattern library to implement new designs that are cohesive with the rest of the website. Have the flexibility to work with style guides that aren’ t 100% written in stone, knowing when to propose new styles when needed.
  • Work closely with marketing designers to ensure consistency between website and other customer touchpoints.
  • Self-starter with the ability to receive an assignment and run with it. Know when to ask questions that help you get the project done quickly.
  • Be open to critique, using feedback to refine and build knowledge for the next project.
  • Elevate, elevate, elevate. Work should be polished, clean, and pixel-perfect.
  • Be curious about other D2C or cutting-edge brands, and work with the team to come up with exciting new ideas.
  • Projects will mostly be website-related— some eCommerce experiences, some informational pages, and the occasional non-website marketing project as needed (emails, social media, etc).
  • Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
  • Ability to follow structure with files (naming, storing, and keeping layers clean and scannable).

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a T-shaped UX designer, with experience in interface and UX flows, as well as visual and marketing design.
  • Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch are a must. Other Adobe CC programs are a bonus.
  • High-end, editorial design aesthetic, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to think holistically about the customer experience and how all the puzzle pieces connect.
  • Design-thinking is a must. You must be able to put yourself in the shoes of real of eCommerce shoppers.
  • Experience with prototyping in Invision a plus.
  • Experience with user research a plus.
  • Experience with front-end coding is nice to have if you’ re a pro at it, but not necessary.
  • BA in Design.
