Description: 

Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Product & Portfolio Strategist to define and guide the execution of experiences that span hardware, software, services and environments for one of our studio’ s largest clients. As a Portfolio Strategist, you will identify key market trends and opportunities and build extensive, detailed strategies to capture them. Working from our San Francisco studio, you will partner closely with multidisciplinary teams to define and guide experience definition through opportunity identification, concept ideation, product validation and launch.

Responsibilities:
  • Create the “ north star” for our client’ s product and experience roadmap with a clear eye toward shifting the business needle through design thinking
  • Develop actionable frameworks that define product portfolios through hero/signature, side-kick and generational experiences
  • Recommend and optimize product features that deliver against key business goals
  • Structure conversations with internal teams and clients to guide decision making and alignment, at the most senior levels
  • Lead user-needs discovery and opportunity validation efforts  via research, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data to inform key product and portfolio  decisions

Requirements:
  •   6-8 years of professional experience in product management, strategy consulting or other relevant design strategy experience
  • Proven track record as strong communicator, influencer and cross-functional partner
  • Good consumer product experience  intuition based, but reinforce this through a deep understanding of user insights
  • You are a design advocate and a strong employer of human-centered design practices
  • You have an ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • You’ re a team player who can successfully work across disciplines with various stakeholder groups, both within fuseproject and across client organizations
  • You have deep research  skills, spanning both  qualitative ethnography & quantitative survey and analysis skills
  • You feel comfortable  helping great ideas succeed through  business analysis, projections and GTM analysis
  • Willing to travel internationally up to 20%
