Our client is looking for a proven, driven and motivated Salesforce Marketing Strategist to play a critical leadership role in the North America Marketing organization. 

This primary role of this Project Manager is to lead and support the organization’ s key marketing and communication strategies, such as support the implementation of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, the analysis of current Salesforce Marketing Cloud process and implementation and adoption any additional methodologies.

The successful candidate is a Salesforce Strategist who can drive efficiencies in all aspects of the project management function and related workflows. The candidate will be strong in Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools (including Journey Builder), project management, and will be technically sound in leveraging software tools.  This resource will have the right balance and communication skills for developing relationships and negotiating with key stakeholders, cross-functional team, executives and direct project reports.

  • Lead Salesforce Marketing activities and deliverables development / maintenance including preparation, management, reporting and establishment of timelines
  • Will work primarily with marketing, sales, creative strategy and technology departments
  • Define processes and tools to be highly effective, scalable and user friendly
  • Facilitates regular status meetings to effectively communicate expectations, goals, scope, budget, resources, and timeline, and general status with team members, stakeholders, and sponsors
  • Partner with key marketing segment managers in the management of multiple initiatives related to our Salesforce platform
  • Work alongside our Salesforce partners, in-house developers and key stakeholders to ensure effective program development and delivery
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with key stakeholders and management to determine the scope, objectives and timelines of each project
  • Ensure proper organizational alignment with executives, stakeholders, project teams and 3rd party partners to optimize process and program implementation
  • Mentor/coaches other leaders, coordinators and less experienced members of the team in the key rituals and best practices to drive excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment


  • Experience working in a creative agency or marketing-related field implementing projects including websites, events, product launches, print items and digital assets
  • The ideal candidate enjoys learning, has proven analytical skills, and proactively looks for new ways to engage customer
  • Strong project management and execution skills
  • Strong time management skills as you’ ll have multiple priorities to focus on in a week than often changes based on project demands
  • Must be a leader and self-starter that require little direction, as you will be part of a fast paced environment. Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously
  • Must have an entrepreneurial mindset – constantly thinking about how to implement the next big thing? Ability to build something out of nothing with minimal oversight
  • Must know market, customers and competition and highly skilled at integrating this information into CRM growth strategies
  • Must be able to work with cross-functional teams to collaborate and get your hands dirty working with engineers, designers, and managers to drive growth and bring new initiatives to the table
  • Excellent analysis skill and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Must have superior verbal and written communication skills. Demonstration of good judgment; ability to know when to listen vs. ask questions
  • Ability to organize workload for effective, timely implementation of marketing campaigns and programs
  • Strong commitment to quality, process, and meeting established objectives
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with concepts of software development lifecycle, lean software development, and customer driven design

  • 5+ years of Email Marketing Experience
  • 3+ years of demonstrated marketing experience
  • Program/project leadership skills, with direct responsibility for managing project teams, budget and schedule

  • Bachelor’ s Degree in marketing, business, economics, computer science, or relevant field of experience required

  • Agile/Scrum Certification a plus
  • Salesforce Certifications, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification
    • PMP Certification a plus
  • Experience with Digital Marketing Automation Tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Content Cognitive Tools is a plus)
  • MBA
