PR / Content Lead

This role is the driving force behind H-D’ s International PR, content and influencer strategy, programs, launches and alignment with other marketing functions. The channel forms an integral part in delivering H-D’ s business objective of reaching new audiences through new products whilst also supporting the International sales KPIs.
The role will spearhead efforts at incredibly exciting time for the business with many new product introductions in new segments. As well as leading a ‘ traditional’ PR effort with motorcycle journalists across the region, building brand engagement through digital story-telling and an influencer/ambassador network will be key. The role will be accountable for delivering impactful launches, strong ROI, continuous improvements, efficiency and regional alignment. Working effectively within a matrix organisation, managing multiple projects and stakeholders is a fundamental part of the role. Budget ownership exceeds $2m per year.
The incumbent will be expected to build and deliver a new PR and Content strategy that plays a major part in delivering against key Motor Company’ s strategic pillars – new products and broader access. The role, albeit based in Oxford, is far reaching and will have significant impact and influence in International markets as far as Canada, Japan and Australia. The role will closely collaborate with other divisions within marketing and the wider H-D business. There can be significant personal and professional growth opportunities within the International Marketing team, and the wider Motor Company as a whole.
A knowledgeable, positive and motivated individual with strong leadership qualities and a proven track record of delivering successful PR initiatives in a digital landscape. A strategic thinker with a strong appetite for continuous improvement. The individual will be required to lead and inspire teams that are closely connected and remote. Great communication skills are essential. Credibility gained through PR experience and a knowledge of the motorcycle industry is a must.
