We' re partnering with the world' s largest online social media and social networking service to identify a Marketing Researcher to join their ever-passionate and collaborative product design team. The work will range from formative to evaluative; ethnography to usability. The ideal candidate will have experience in both qualitative and quantitative analysis, as well as an understanding of design research methods. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and execute quantitative and qualitative  research to support the marketing organization and the company at large
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights that will have an effect on reaching hundreds of millions of people
  • Communicate effectively and enthusiastically  in order to motivate people to take action in marketing and across the organization

QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS degree in  sociology, psychology, market research, statistics, or related field(s)
  • 6+ years of experience with background in quantitative and qualitative  research, including hands-on experience in survey/discussion guide writing and basic  data analysis (weighting, data cleaning, significant testing  etc.)
  • Problem solving experience and ability to move from blank slate to a research problem matched with a methodology
  • Experience directing agencies/vendors to deliver results
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with SPSS or R and Survey programming tool
  • International research experience
  • Experience in a consumer technology company, with a strong understanding of social platforms and mobile ecosystems
  • Experience with positioning, messaging development and optimization research
  • Experience with tracker surveys 
  • Experience with control/test survey framework
