Integration Lead - Consumer Insight

Candidates should have strong experience within business/marketing research and consumer, retail and market insights - preferably with consumer brands
You will sit within the Consumer Segment teams - they are part of the Consumer Portfolio Management (CPM) organization, which covers Consumer Insight, Consumer Research and Analytics, Product Management and Go-To-Market strategy. This role serves as the liaison between CPM and the sales region they are assigned to. Under minimal supervision of the Consumer Segments Director, you will develop consumer insights to drive portfolio plans
Understand company strategic objectives, the assigned marketplace, and working with regional teams to uncover business opportunities
Capture and organize regional consumer insights from research, industry data, observation, and various stakeholder groups to be incorporated into portfolio planning
Participate in volume planning and pricing, including collaborating with regional sales organizations on product/service positioning
Maintain deep knowledge of the regional marketplace and an intent focus to recognize early trends in order to anticipate future or unspoken consumer wants and needs
Develops regional / market insights for quarterly performance reporting
Identify research & knowledge gaps, prioritize and develop hypotheses to address key business issues.
Explore hypotheses to discover the next level of opportunities and challenges.
Strategically leverage external knowledge sources to create more complete/deeper recommendations.
Recommend strategies and tactics that can be implemented to drive portfolio performance, identify gaps or solve problems
Develop and manage consistent approaches to best practice insight level development methods and applications across the organization
Provide recommendations/guidance based on market analysis or sales data
The successful candidate will be able to look and analyse consumer insight and use the data to identify personas and their needs - you will then be an international consumer champion as to what is needed going forward, ie what ' new' element is needed when they look at future product planning
Will also look at pricing, areas of improvement, field sales etc - ideally someone from the motorcycle industry / automotive or passionate about motorcycles/automotive
Position requires a minimum of 8 years of business experience with specific emphasis on business/ marketing/ research and consumer, retail and market insights - preferably with consumer brands.
