Title: Innovation & Insights Strategist
Location: San Francisco Bay Area

Our client is seeking an Innovation & Insights Strategist to help shape the future of their company through networking, technology investments, and partnerships development. This person will analyze data and trends to compile business cases and manage projects from beginning to end.

Responsibilities: 
  • Support Innovation team and manage/develop projects end to end
  • Ensure appropriate coaching and development of direct and indirect colleagues, to ensure, continuous evolution of service and customer centric opportunities
  • Drive product management partnership with Product Innovation Team to ensure new products or product enhancements are available to meet customers project needs globally
  • Develop centralized ownership and coordination framework for product offerings, harmonization, new product introduction, manufacturability, and SAP master data control
  • Analyze, coordinate and drive global Innovation initiatives such as Venture Capital, Innovation Lab, Partnerships and Start-up Partnerships that will generate future revenue streams from $1M to >$10M in the medium and long term
  • Analyze and solve key business challenges to drive new growth and value opportunities across a swiftly dynamic and innovative business environment
  • Leverage  data-backed analysis, data science tools & methods, hypothesis-driven approach, research & innovation frameworks  to support the design & execution of new solutions
  • Support & accelerate execution of innovation initiatives such as Venture Capital, Partnerships and New systems, working alongside leaders to ensure effective implementation, governance, communication and change management

Requirements/Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor’ s degree in business, marketing, or four or more years of work experience is required (MBA is desired)
  • Strong track record in both quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • 1+ years in a strategy, engineering, innovation or product development role for a Tier 1/2 management consulting firm, leading technology firm, asset management, equity research, or investment bank
  • 2-3 years’ of experience in business case design, and capital planning processes
  • 2-3 years’ of experience in product management, new product development, product marketing, market research, or industry analysis is strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating and presenting analysis & presentations to all levels of an organization and the ability to integrate, and synthesize unstructured information and convey these insights
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think past current business model and technology boundaries to see what is possible, such as root cause analysis
  • Strong familiarity with mobile telecommunications technologies, SoCs and IoT
  • Exposure to working with global teams.
