Salary: DOE
• Work closely with innovation team members – marketers, product strategists,
researchers and designers - to identify innovation opportunities at the market,
product and technology levels
• Work alongside R&D team to understand   A.I. technology
• Conduct primary and secondary quantitative and qualitative research into
commercial and consumer markets, to identify automation opportunities that
push boundaries and provoke disruptive innovation
• Utilize secondary research data to create in-depth analysis of market opportunity,
highlight trends, map market segmentation, and define the competitive landscape
• Help design and take part in client-site ethnographic observation, and process
optimization studies, and develop key insights analysis
• Design and launch primary research programs that offer insights into customer
pain points, and critical feedback on product solutions and usability findings
• Engage in and lead conceptual brainstorming sessions
• Conceptualize product ideas with the innovation team, exploring multiple design
directions and opportunities
• Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, pricing analysis and supporting
financial models

3. Degree or graduate degree in business, market research, design research,
economics, psychology, behavioral science, or statistics
4. MBA or graduate degree in market research / design research strongly preferred
5. High level of analytical ability essential
6. Design thinking certification is highly desired
7. Agile development certification an advantage
8. Experience researching high-tech products is desired
9. Experience collaborating across cross-functional groups is essential
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
11. Good project management skills, and an ability to effectively manage multiple
concurrent assignments
12. Startup technology company experience highly desirable
13. A dynamic team player, with a high level of interpersonal skills, that will enhance
team performance. Also, a performance-driven self-starter that can take
direction, but does not require it
14. Fluency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, plus a working knowledge of
research platforms such as Alpha, or statistical analysis package such as SSPS
