Advertising agency located in West Los Angeles that specializes in strategic
planning, marketing, media planning and buying, brand building, creative development, production and multicultural advertising.

Freelance long term Digital Analyst to work on Performance Platforms team. We need someone who can pull and visualize data and apply insight and optimization recommendations to maximize the effectiveness of our clients’ Paid Search PPC and Paid Social campaigns.
  • This position requires 5– 6 years’ experience
  • The marketing analyst will be responsible for performing digital research, analysis and insights reporting of vertical market trends, competitor analysis, potential and existing customer analysis, and campaign performance analysis.
  • They will meet with clients to ascertain marketing goals, identify areas of opportunity, analyze competitors, and generate reports that analyze competition and customers.
  • They will examine a campaign' s KPIs (CTR, CPA, CPL, ROAS/ROI), identify new market opportunities, perform data and market research, and analyze marketing metrics to identify cause-and-effect relationships.
  • This position requires experience with digital media (Web, Display, SEM, Mobile, Social, etc.), a deep understanding of analytics, good user experiences, and knowing what drives conversion and retention.
  • Design, conduct, and report on A/B and/or multi variable tests
  • Understand and/or define the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of campaigns and marketing activities and derive relevant metrics, targets, and data collection strategies, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, Display Advertising, E-Mail Marketing, Social Media Marketing
  • Analyze collected data and present results, including hypothesis development.
  • Track all performance and develop weekly/monthly progress reports— share findings with the online and offline media teams
  • Perform analytical “ deep dives”
  • Track all performance and develop weekly/monthly progress reports— share findings with internal teams and external clients
  • Develop reporting dashboards within Kenshoo.
  • Pull data across Google, Bing, Yahoo and Facebook to visualize in charts so information can be trended and analyzed
  • Ability to present strategic value and best practices within paid search to senior-level clients
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis
  • Plan and implement ad copy tests to produce optimal click-through and conversion rates
  • Proactively offer strategic campaign recommendations
  • Work with the online and offline media teams to coordinate SEM campaigns effectively
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of SEM campaigns and programs and generate/deliver ongoing performance reports
  • Work closely with the Account Team in order to understand all clients and campaign objectives
  • Work directly with clients for all SEM campaign issues— answer questions and address issues
  • Conduct online research in order to determine SEM strategy for campaigns
  • Collaborate with creative team to write/develop ad copy for search
  • Lead regular client status calls as required
  • Candidate Requirements
  • 3-5 years’ experience with search marketing (PPC)
  • Preferable experience with other paid digital media channels, specifically social media buying
  • Experience with platform-based buying using Marin or Kenshoo is a plus
  • Experience with Web analytics tools is preferred
  • Proficient in components of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
