Job Description:

This is a new role that will provide analytical support using the newly created Sisense

BI Tool to support business decisions.

Work closely with our client’ s product teams to identify research topics.

Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes.

Generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate designs.

Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods, such as surveys.

Work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering and marketing.

Collaborate with Retention, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Support to understand business needs.


Lead needs and requirements analyses to develop business intelligence capabilities that

aggregate, analyze, and publish data related to consumer lifecycle patterns, student, product and parent performance, enrollment management, marketing, revenue, operations and overall business needs.

Create, design and update dashboards, KPI measures and other tracking tools.

Analyze large raw datasets to gain insight and create ‘ AHA’ moments.

Assist in analyzing, testing, and validating systems data for incorporation into the

enterprise data warehouse.

Extract data from databases for reporting and facilitate sharing between multiple data

systems to create and simplify data flows, data models, reports and dashboards.

Implement standard reporting and dashboards that help prepare and analyze internal,

and external market analyses, annual budget models and forward-looking analytics.

Troubleshoot program logic in a well-organized and systematic manner.

Proactively analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement / best practice.


Bachelor' s Degree in computer science, statistics or other related quantitative methods,

and 2 or more years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong ability to understand and analyze user requirements as they relate to

organizational goals and objectives.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential (lookups, pivot tables, nested logic

functions, interfacing with OLAP cubes, etc.)

Proficiency in business analytics, with demonstrated ability to draw conclusions from the

data and provide insight into why the business is evolving

Experience with data visualization and BI tools (Tableau, Sisense or Power BI preferred)

Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously in a high production environment

Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills

Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
